Lessons are given in 2 hour increments. Additional time for each lesson is available, but 2 hours is the minimum lesson length. All lessons are behind the wheel. Patrick will pick up the student at their residence and drop them off at the end of the lesson. The lesson time will begin when the student is picked up and end when they are dropped off. The pricing for lessons is based on an hourly charge. Hourly pricing is based on location, so please call for an estimate.
Additional passengers/observers are welcome to ride along as long as they do not interfere with the lesson. This request, along with any other special requests, is allowed at the discretion of the instructor. The instructor also holds the right to end the lesson at any time for any reason, and the charge for the lesson will be for the time up until that point. It is the responsibility of the student to provide any translation service.
Many experienced drivers find themselves in a situation that they need to "sharpen" their skills. If a family member would like us to assess another family member's driving skills, we can do so. If someone needs to learn to drive a manual transmission we can help in the student'[s own car. If you have a specific problem with a particular driving skill, we're there for you.
In the state of Missouri, once you fail 3 driving exams, the state requires you to complete additional training before you can attempt to take the exam again. Part of the requirements is usually a few hours of professional driving instruction, along with a letter of completion. If your letter from the state requires 20 hours of re-training, you do not have to have all of the 20 hours with an instructor. We can provide this completion letter of training at no extra cost.
